Mandatory and optional fields in the person profile

Fields such as First Name, Last Name, Gender, and Date of Birth in the person profile (under the Personal Data tab) are mandatory and marked with an asterisk (*). These fields cannot be disabled or hidden.

All other fields can be enabled or disabled as needed by the organization.
When enabled, these fields appear as optional in the person’s profile – filling them in is not required.

⚠️ Warning:
Any visibility changes take effect immediately across all person profiles. Before disabling a field, make sure the data is not required for internal processes or data exports.

When changing the toggle switch ON or OFF, you will be asked in a pop-up window if you wish to keep or delete the data that are connected to this field in the database.

⚠️ Please be aware that if you select YES, then the data from the selected fields will be permanently deleted from the system for everybody.
